Suspicious Package Closes Milford Police Office To Public

The Milford Police Department’s front lot and lobby were closed for about an hour Friday afternoon to investigate a suspicious package.

The department announced on Twitter the areas were closed around noon on Friday while officers investigated a suspicious package that was turned in at police headquarters.

The department has since reopened after the package was removed from the area.

The department Tweeted: "CSP removed the suspicious item from the Milford PD and will safely dispose of it. The Police Department is deemed safe and is reopened to the public."
